Welcome to Season 2 of Clash Of The Choirs with a revamped website and customised social platforms!

DLD, on behalf of DStv Digital Media (DStv DM) is keeping the website fresh with daily content, and social media updates.

Rich media content includes insights into each Episode: Exclusive interviews with the Judges, show host Bonang Matheba, Choirmasters, Choir members, and guests. Watch them here.

Each week, reviews, previews and profiles on guests are published. Video highlights of each Choir’s performance have proven to be popular.

The website also has write-ups on all three Judges, Lindelani Mkhize, Rebecca Malope, and Anele; and show host Bonang, making it a one stop portal for anyone who wants to know everything about the show. Image galleries display the poignant moments TV cameras may have missed.

The strategy of the social platforms, Facebook and Twitter, is to have the site as the central destination, so fans have a single point of information on anything related to the show, and everything they love.

During the Sunday night broadcast, there is live coverage on both Facebook and Twitter, and updates on the website. As the competition gets tougher, so do the engagement levels on these platforms increase, and fans’ investment grows.

Each team also has their own unique hashtag on Twitter. On Facebook, seven Team Pages were created, and these are managed and maintained by DLD, with the Choirmasters given access to engage their fans, and also update the pages themselves. Each week, a publishing schedule is sent to them, so they are aware of the content rolling out on their behalf.

During each Episode, Bonang promotes the website, social platforms and team hashtags, with supporting graphics. This completes the promotion cycle, because the online portals, in turn, promote the show.
