Celebrity MasterChef SA: From the stage to the stove

MasterChef South Africa is a smorgasbord of fresh local talent and entertainment. Featuring Reuben Riffel, Benny Masekwameng and Pete Goffe-Wood, three of the country’s top chefs, as the judges, the show is a must for every budding chef, foodie or restaurateur; while still providing plenty of entertainment for all.

Currently in its third year, the show’s fourth season deviates from the standard format by showcasing ten local celebrities competing for charity, instead of the opportunity to get a foot in the door of the culinary world.

The celebrity season features radio presenter Alex Jay; model Lerato Moloi; photographer Merwelene van der Merwe; TV presenters Lunga Shabalala, Sade Giliberti and Lorna Maseko; comedians Chris Forrest and Tol A$$ Mo; pop star Patricia Lewis and actor Terence Bridgett.

The Celebrity MasterChef SA website outlines everything you need to know about the contestants and highlights their charities too. In addition, each week comes with a host of videos featuring highlights from the show, as well as behind-the-scenes exclusives.

News and images provide further insight and plenty of tips, all relayed via our social media platforms. Facebook is your go-to guide for all the latest news, updates and memes featuring quirky lines from the renowned contestants.

Twitter provides plenty of links to information, videos and images, while staying in touch with the audience; so if you’re following the show, keep a lookout for our retweets of what you have to say, as well as comments from the celebrities and judges.

Recipes from challenge winners and Michelin-starred chefs can be found on the website and are shared via our social platforms, but WeChat provides the most convenient access. By sending the keyword RECIPE to MNetTV, you will get the recipes delivered instantly to your phone.

Even the best of shows fall victim to load shedding, but there are plenty of repeats and there is DStv Catch Up for those plunged into darkness on Sunday evenings.

No matter what happens, Don’t Look Down is dedicated to bringing you all the latest and greatest digital content from Celebrity MasterChef SA every Sunday at 18:00 on M-Net channel 101.
