The Voice heads to Nigeria

After two greatly successful African editions of The Voice in the form of South Africa and Angola, Nigeria finally got their chance to show what they’re made of on the internationally acclaimed show and they certianly brought the heat.

On the 10th of April, The Voice Nigeria kicked off with a thrilling round of blind auditions and after weeks of sifting through the incredibly talented singers, coaches, 2Baba, Timi Dakolo, Waje and Patoranking eventually found themselves going head to head at the finale in July with their finest talents.

Ultimately though it was Waje’s own A’rese who was crowned the winner of the inaugural production and she walked away with not only bragging rights but a host of prizes that included a recording contract and a brand new SUV.

Don’t Look Down provided The Voice Nigeria with a top team of writers and video editors who provided premium behind the scenes content, comprehensive show coverage and exclusive interviews with the some of the biggest names in Nigerian entertainment who were a part of the production.
